Just Like Heaven 2024 (Postal Service, Death Cab, Phoenix, War on Drugs, Passion Pit, Alvvays, more)

CA festival Just Like Heaven will return for its fourth annual edition on Saturday, May 18 at Brookside at The Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Their last few lineups have been a who’s-who of mid-2000’s indie rock, and 2024 continues in that tradition, with The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie topping the bill with 20th anniversary (now technically 21st anniversary) performances of Give Up and Transatlanticism, part of their ongoing tour for the albums. “We are thrilled to headline Just Like Heaven,” Ben Gibbard says. “It’s a great festival and opportunity to bring the 20th anniversary celebration of Give Up and Transatlanticism back to the Los Angeles area.”

The lineup also features Phoenix, The War on Drugs, Miike Snow, Passion Pit, Alvvays, Two Door Cinema Club, Phantogram, Metric, Gossip (whose first album in 12 years, Real Power, arrives in March), Tegan and Sara, Washed Out, Broken Social Scene, Sleigh Bells, Warpaint, CSS (who announced their first US show in 11 years in December), Be Your Own Pet (who returned with their first album in 15 years, Mommy, in 2023), The Go! Team, Them Jeans, Chris Cruse, and A Club Called Rhonda. See the poster below.

Tickets go on sale Friday, January 26 at 11 AM PET.
