Folk singer Julie Byrne has been doing a lot of touring in support of this year’s excellent Not Even Happiness — she was just down in Austin for SXSW — and now even more dates have been added. Her tour was extended through late July. Many of her newly-added dates are with Johanna Warren, who also has an upcoming tour with Xasthur.
Julie’s next two appearances in and around NYC will happen this month. Since we last spoke, she was added as an opener to the Weyes Blood show on March 30 at Music Hall of Williamsburg (tickets). That’s one day before she opens the Waxahatchee / Kevin Morby solo show at Jersey’s Monty Hall (3/31) (sold out). Updated dates are listed below.
That Waxahatchee / Kevin Morby show is one of two nights at Monty Hall. The other is on 3/30 with Mary Lattimore, and that one’s still on sale. Morby announced his new album today.
