UPDATE:Jeff Rosenstock added a second NYC Worry show with longtime collaborator Laura Stevenson on September 20 at The Rooftop at Pier 17.
PREVIOUSLY:Jeff Rosenstock is celebrating a decade of his fantastic second solo album, 2016’s Worry, with a special NYC show. It happens on The Rooftop at Pier 17 on September 19, and he’s promising an “ultra-long gig” with the album played in full “AND THEN PLAYING ANOTHER 2+ HOURS.” Tickets go on sale Friday, April 24 at 10 AM ET.

We played a two-hour-forty-five minute show in Los Angeles two years ago and I’m glad we are finally getting to do it again. Thinkin’ bout strings, horns, friends joining in, deep cuts but also songs u like, surprises and of course playing WORRY. in the city it was written in and written about on a rooftop I used to visit as a kid and above where I’ve seen a ton of bands I like for free when I was living in Brooklyn – MAGICAL STUFF.
I think the schedule says we’ve got three hours to play so we’ll try to do something like that, no intermission just rippin’ the whole way through. Last time we did this it was really fun/crazy/special and that’s my favorite shit so it should be sick. Or it’ll be a disaster, we’ll all throw up our hands and go “whoopsie” and staff with neuralyzers will be waiting at the exits to erase your memory of such a dreadful evening in the greatest city in the world.
