Interpol are on the UK leg of their Antics 20th anniversary tour, and begin their US dates later this month. They’d already announced some awesome openers for that run, including Deafheaven in Chicago, …And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead in Austin, and The Walkmen in Inglewood, and now they’ve announced support for the rest of the US shows, which some more exciting choices. Cave In will join them in Boston (December 1 at Roadrunner), Model/Actriz in Philadelphia (December 6 at Franklin Music Hall), and in Brooklyn they’ll have Lutalo on night 1 (December 3 at Brooklyn Steel), Monobloc on night 2 (December 4 at Brooklyn Steel), and Rough Francis on night 3 (December 5 at Brooklyn Steel). Interpol also released an expanded 20th anniversary edition of Antics in September, and they also shared the stage with Model/Actriz last year, at one of their Beacon Theatre holiday shows. Model/Actriz, meanwhile, just played the new NYC fest United Sounds, and have their 2024 “A Very Model/Actriz Chrismukkah party” coming up at TV Eye on December 4 with Mary in the Junkyard and Magdalene.
Cave In recently joined Coalesce for some shows, including Coalesce’s first NYC dates in 14 years.
