Indigo De Souza‘s new album Precipice arrives next month, and she’s given us another preview with “Crying Over Nothing,” the second single. It’s a catchy alt-pop banger that goes in a similar direction to her hyperpop-inspired 2024 EP WHOLESOME EVIL FANTASY, but the subject matter isn’t so upbeat. “‘Crying Over Nothing’ is about heartbreak that feels beyond reason,” Indigo says. “Pain that follows no matter where you go or how much you try to lose it. Pain that comes from memories you can’t erase and love you can’t unfeel. It’s about loss that is never-ending.”
She’s also announced a fall headlining tour with Mothé, starting in Columbus on October 18 and wrapping up in Asheville on November 2. She has summer shows lined up as well, including dates supporting Lord Huron, and festival sets, including Bumbershoot. See all dates below.
The NYC show is at Webster Hall on October 27. Tickets to that and all dates go on sale Friday, June 6 at 10 AM local, with various presales starting Wednesday, June 4 at 10 AM local.
