Long Island hardcore vets Incendiary have announced a rarities comp titled Product Of New York which is out now digitally and will be out physically on May 15.
“Product Of New York‘ captures the complete early Incendiary output across multiple Split 7″s and our debut 7″, ‘Amongst The Filth‘,” says frontman Brendan Garrone. “We’re proud of the history of the band and wanted to compile the songs that defined this time period, many of which continue to be staples of our live sets. Hopefully, people more familiar with our later LPs have a chance to check out these tracks.”
Among these dozen songs are a cover of Beastie Boys’ “Sabotage” and previously unreleased Change the Way You Think About Pain outtake “Not Your Prophet.” About that one, Garrone says, “It never quite seemed to fit the overall vibe and flow of the album, but this felt like the right opportunity to offer something new while compiling our older material.” Listen to “Not Your Prophet” and the whole comp below.
Incendiary have a few live dates on the horizon, including Richmond’s United Blood Fest, LA’s Sound & Fury, and a Long Island show at Massapequa VFW Hall on May 2 with Separated, Shits Creek, and Tulip Ave. Tickets for that show are on sale Tuesday, March 24 at 11 AM. All dates are listed below.
