Hamilton Leithauser + Rostam have shared the video for single “A 1000 Times,” the first single from their upcoming collaborative album, I Had A Dream That You Were Mine, that is due out September 23 via Glassnote. Rostam, who co-directed with Josh Goleman, came up with the video concept after seeing a photo of a teenage Hamilton. We see the band playing in a school gymnasium as the years cycle from youth to adulthood to twilight years, with Hamilton’s dad taking on the latter. Watch below.
The duo are set make their official live debut this fall at NYC’s Rough Trade on September 26. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday, August 12 at noon. Hamilton Leithauser + Rostam will play a show in London at Hoxton Hall on October 5. More dates announced soon.
