NYC band Gustaf have announced their second album, Package Pt. 2, which will be out April 5 via Royal Mountain Records. They made it with producer Erin Tonkon (David Bowie’s Blackstar) at Studio G Brooklyn and Circular Ruin.
The first single from the album is “Starting and Staring,” which sounds like Gustaf picking right back up where they left off, with Lydia Gammill commanding the mic and keeping everyone just a little on edge atop danceable, angular backing. Watch the video below.
Having opened for IDLES, Yard Act, and Sleaford Mods on tour over the last two years, Gustaf will spend the spring on their biggest headlining trek yet, beginning April 21 in Cambridge, MA and wrapping up at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg on May 23. Tickets for all dates go on sale Friday, January 12 at 10 AM local time. All dates are listed below.
