Maspeth venue and arts space Knockdown Center has announced the winter 2024 edition of its seasonal Outline show series, happening on Saturday, February 24. Montreal post-rock greats Godspeed You! Black Emperor headline, and the lineup also features Alan Sparhawk of Low, Catalan composer/producer Marina Herlop, and ambient folk artist Maria BC. Alan Sparkhawk has been playing shows under his own name this year following the tragic death of his bandmate and wife Mimi Parker in 2022, and this will be his first in NYC.
Marina Herlop and Maria BC both released gorgeous albums in October, Nekkuja (Marina’s fourth album), and Spike Field (Maria BC’s second album and first for Sacred Bones), respectively.
