Ahead of their debut album, UK trio Girl Ray will release a double-A-side 7″ single on July 28 via Moshi Moshi. One side features “Preacher” and the flip is another lovely song, “Don’t Go Back at Ten,” which typifies Girl Ray’s charming, pastoral sound (think Gorky’s Zygotic Minci or The Pastels or Electrelane). You can listen to both sides of the 7″ below.
Girl Ray’s debut album, Earl Grey, is out August 4. The band will be on a UK tour this fall, and are playing the By The Sea Festival which happens September 29 – October 1 at Dreamland amusement park (where the Gorillaz Demon Dayz festival happened last month) that also features Metronomy, The Libertines, Everything Everything, Marika Hackman, and more (tickets).
