As promised on a recent episode of the BrooklynVegan podcast, The Get Up Kids have announced even more Something to Write Home About 25th anniversary dates, and this upcoming February/March leg features support from two other late ’90s/early 2000s indie-emo veterans, Hot Rod Circuit and TGUK’s old Midwest friends The Anniversary. The shows begin in St. Louis on January 30 and run through February and into March, wrapping up with two nights in Pomona, CA, on March 7 and 8, which they say will be the final West Coast STWHA shows. There’s no NYC show this time (they played two Warsaw shows in September) but they’ll be at Wantagh, NY’s Mulcahy’s on February 13, and Sayreville, NJ’s Starland Ballroom on February 14, both with The Anniversary. Tickets to all dates go on sale Thursday, November 14 at 12 PM local, with various presales starting Wednesday, November 13 at 12 PM local.
All three bands also played last month’s Best Friends Forever fest in Las Vegas, and you can see pictures from their sets below.
