The String Cheese Incident‘s Halloween-weekend Florida festival, Hulaween, has never really stuck to a single genre, but the past few years have seemed to hone in on the jam scene, with a side helping of dance music. For that reason, I did a double-take when I saw Geese, not Goose, are one of the headliners for this year’s edition, which happens on October 22-25 at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL. Excision, My Morning Jacket, and Pretty Lights round out the top line, and The String Cheese Incident, as usual, will play three nights.
The rest of the lineup doubles down on jam and dance, but also has Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Guerilla Toss, in addition to Ben Böhmer, Big Gramatik (Big Gigantic & Gramatic), Crankdat, Daily Bread, Green Velvet, Levity, Of The Strees, STS9, ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, and more. See it in full below.
