Sudanese-Canadian poet and singer/songwriter Mustafa has announced the second edition of his Artists for Aid benefit concert, this time happening in London on July 4 at Troxy. (The first was in Newark, NJ earlier this year.) Presented in partnership with War Child, it benefits humanitarian efforts in Palestine and Sudan, and the lineup features Earl Sweatshirt, Yasiin Bey (fka Mos Def), Clairo, Blood Orange, Daniel Caesar, King Krule, Nicolas Jaar, Bint Mbareh, and Ramy Youssef. Tickets are on sale now.
Mustafa also recently released the song “Gaza Is Calling” to benefit the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund, and he’s expected to release his first album for Jagjaguwar later this year. He also plays TONES of NYC in October at Knockdown Center with Moses Sumney, Naomi Sharon, Baby Rose, and others.
