Annie-Claude Deschênes of Montreal bands Duchess Says and PyPy has announced her debut solo album, LES MANIÈRES DE TABLE, which will be out April 5 (digitally) and April 26 (physically) via Italians Do It Better and Bonsound. She made the record with Jean-Michel Coutu, and you can check out the artwork and tracklist below.
While both of her bands leaned towards synthy punk, the two songs released from the album so far are fully in the synthpop world, with a strong minimal wave vibe. They’re both pretty cool (“PHONES” is a banger) and you can watch the videos for both below.
Annie-Claude has a few Canadian dates lined up for later this spring and those are listed below.
