Boston’s favorite Celtic punk heroes Dropkick Murphys are currently wrapping up a fall tour with Pennywise and The Scratch, and now they’ve announced their annual St. Patrick’s Day Tour. They’ll be joined by emotive punk greats The Menzingers and raw pop punk vets Teenage Bottlerocket, and the tour culminates with five hometown Boston shows leading up to St. Patrick’s Day proper. The Menzingers also play two of those, Teenage Bottlerocket play one, and The Bouncing Souls, Hot Water Music, and others join the Murphys in Boston too.
Things kick off at Long Island’s Paramount on February 26, and there’s also a show at Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun arena on March 13 right before the Boston run. Tickets for the newly-added dates go on sale Friday (10/25) at 10 AM with presales beforehand. All dates are listed below.
Earlier this year, The Menzingers released a deluxe edition of last year’s great Some Of It Was True, and they also contributed the new song “Second City” to Red Scare Industries’ 20th anniversary comp.
