Drop Nineteens have announced special shows happening in November in San Francisco and Brooklyn. They’re calling them KICK and feature some of their favorite bands also on the bill. The SF show is at The Fillmore on 11/7 with Sweet93, She’s Green, and ee; the Brooklyn show is at Elsewhere on 11/21 and is with Lowertown, Colle, Birthday Girl, and Me At Night. Tickets for both shows go on sale Friday, August 15 at 10 AM local time.
“We’ve been holed up for months recording our next album and wanted to get out there and do something short and sweet before year’s end,” says Drop Nineteens’ Greg Ackell. “It’s a simple concept – 2 coasts, 2 nights, playing with some of our favorite bands on the scene. It’s gonna be loud. It’s gonna be good.”
Drop Nineteens released Hard Light, their first album in 30 years in 2023 and then a lost album of demos in 2024.
