Dr. Dog drummer (and Lithuania member) Eric Slick will release a new solo album, Palisades, on April 21 via EggHunt Records (the same label that released Lucy Dacus’ first album). We’re premiering a new song from that album, “You Are Not Your Mind,” which is a nice dose of laid-back piano rock than fans of Eric’s main band should dig. Listen below.
Eric is opening for Sinkane on tour this month and next, and after that he’ll play a headlining show at Brooklyn’s Sunnyvale on May 20. Tickets for that show are on sale now. All dates are listed below.
Sinkane also plays a couple New York festivals: Mountain Jam and Brooklyn’s Afropunk.
