Dashboard Confessional are about to embark on their fall tour, which aughts-era pop punks Boys Like Girls and newer pop punk torch-carrier Taylor Acorn will join them for. The trek begins in Asbury Park, NJ on Tuesday (9/10) at Stone Pony Summer Stage and runs through late October, hitting Boston, NYC (The Rooftop at Pier 17 on Thursday, 9/12), Philadelphia, Indianapolis, Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle, Denver, Houston, Austin, and more. The tour also includes a stop at Las Vegas’ When We Were Young festival, where they’ll play their fourth album, 2006’s Dusk and Summer, in full.
Back in June, Dashboard’s Chris Carrabba led the Emo Superjam at Bonnaroo, which featured lots of emo legends playing many of its classic songs (including a big group rendition of Dashboard’s own “Hands Down” to end the night).
