Cymbals Eat Guitars recently announced their fourth album, Pretty Years, and released the sax-fueled single “Wish.” Now they’ve got a second single out, “4th of July, Philadelphia (Sandy).” Like the last one, it has Cymbals moving closer than ever into a pop realm, but it’s still a got strong rockin’ backbone. It also references their past tourmate Alex G. Listen below (via Pitchfork).

The band also announced a tour, which has Field Mouse (whose new album features Joe from Cymbals Eat Guitars) opening on most dates. They aren’t billed on the NYC show, which happens September 15 at Music Hall of Williamsburg. (Field Mouse do have their own NYC show in August though.) Tickets for MHOW go on sale Friday (6/24) at noon with an AmEx presale starting today (6/22) at noon. All dates are listed below.
