The current version of Crystal Castles, which doesn’t feature Alice Glass, will be playing NYC as part of Jukely Sound Projects series. The show happens May 7 at Studio E (1260 Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn) and also features Kero Kero Bonito and No Age. Jukely subscribers get free access to the show, along with “expedited entry, members-only coat check, members only lounge areas, and more.” For non-Jukely folks, tickets go on sale Thursday (3/24) at 10 AM.
You may remember Crystal Castles, which now features new vocalist Edith Francis, were taken off this year’s Tumblr SXSW showcase, after comments from Glass about CC’s inclusion in the feminist-centric event.
