Cruel World 2024 set times (Duran Duran vs Tones on Tail)

Pasadena, CA’s Cruel World festival returns for its 2024 edition next Saturday, May 11 at Brookside at The Rose Bowl, and set times have been revealed. There are three stages (“Outsiders,” “Sad Girls,” and “Lost Boys”) and some set time conflicts for attendees to contend with. Those include Duran Duran, ending the night on the Outsiders stage, who are up against Bauhaus offshoot Tones on Tail (Daniel Ash & Kevin Haskins, plus Haskins’ daughter, Diva Dompe, on bass) on the Sad Girls stage.

Other conflicts include partial overlaps of Blondie and Interpol, Soft Cell and Simple Minds, and Gary Numan (playing The Pleasure Principle in full) vs Lol Tolhurst x Budgie. See the set times in full below.

The Alarm have dropped off the lineup following Mike Peters’ cancer diagnosis, and Balvanera will also no longer be performing.
