“I’ve been friends with Patterson Hood for almost twenty years now, and we’ve done a lot of cool things together,” The Hold Steady‘s Craig Finn wrote on Instagram announcing a summer co-headline tour with Drive-By Truckers‘ Patterson Hood. “But possibly my favorite adventure with Patterson was the Devils in the Details tour that we did from Seattle to Texas in November 2025. This tour featured us trading songs, onstage together at the same time, and accompanied by amazing multi-instrumentalist Ben Hackett. The shows were loose, fun, musical, and truly special. Now, I’m very excited to announce that we’re doing it all again in July 2026 in the Twin Cities and on the East Coast. These are guaranteed to be a great time, and I’m so excited to be playing in this format again. I might even bust out some new songs for the occasion. These will make for sublime summer evenings, and I hope you’ll join us.”
The tour includes a Brooklyn show at Music Hall of Williamsburg on July 12 and tickets for all shows are on artist presale now (PW: CFPH26) and go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 1 at 10 AM local time.
