Cold Cave have announced Passion Depression, their third album, which will be out October 15 via The Heartworm. It’s also their first album since 2011’s Cherish the Light Years, though they have have released singles and EPs at a regular clip between then and 2020.
Full details for the album haven’t been announced, but its eight songs include all four of Cold Cave’s 2024 singles — “She Reigns Down,” “Shadow Dance,” “Blackberries,” and “Hourglass” — which you can listen to below.
Cold Cave will be on tour this fall, including NYC-area shows at Brooklyn Monarch on October 4 and Amityville Music Hall on October 5, both with Buzz Kull. They’re also playing the Los Angeles edition of Substance Fest with Black Marble, Ultra Sunn, Kontravoid, Ritual Howls and more.
