Cindy Lee, aka Patrick Flegel, formerly of Women, will release a new double album, Darling of the Diskotheque, this spring. It will be his first since 2020 when Cindy Lee released two albums — What’s Tomorrow Today and Cat O’Nine Tails. There will be CDs and cassettes available as shows, with a digital release in April and then vinyl available after the tour. No music or other details have been shared yet.
As for that tour, Cindy Lee is going back out with collaborators Freak Heat Waves — you may have seen them when they toured together last year. Cindy Lee will be “accompanied once again by shredder Mounir Chami from ‘whimm’ duo,” which they call “a klassik power duo situation…the duo will be running it hot.”
The “Twenty Four Seven” tour kicks off April 6 in Nanaimo, BC and hits NYC on May 14 at TV Eye. All dates are in the tour poster below.
