Cheekface have announced their sixth album, Podium, due out on July 28. They worked on it with Teddy Roxpin, Skatune Network‘s Jer Hunter, Oceanator‘s Elise Okusami, and more, and you can see the cover art and tracklist below.
Podium includes their February single “Hostile Street,” and they’ve shared another new single, “Black Site,” which has lyrics like “when they lock me in the black site, here’s the music to put on,” and “I boycotted everything / nothing got better, it only got worse / and now I don’t know where to buy soap.” Hear it below.
Cheekface also announced a US tour in August, September, and October including shows with Catbite, Apes of the State, and Bodega. They’ll be in NYC on September 19 at Racket with Apes of the State. Tickets to that and all dates go on sale Friday, March 27 at 10 AM local, with an artist presale starting today (3/25) at 12 PM local.
