Charles Bradley‘s new album Changes is out April 1 via Daptone — that’s the cover art above — and if you haven’t checked out the powerful video for its title track (a cover of Black Sabbath’s song) you should rectify that — watch it below.
Bradley will play a private party celebrating The Village Voice’s new “Pazz + Jop” issue tonight (1/12) at Webster Hall’s Marlin Room, but for the rest of us, he’ll be on tour soon, starting with a run of Florida dates in February. After a European tour this spring, he’ll play a record release show at NYC’s Beacon Theatre on April 23. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (1/15) at noon, with Chase cardmember and Beacon presales beginning Wednesday (1/3) at 10 AM.
