Fresh off a tour supporting Mount Kimbie, Chanel Beads (aka New York musician Shane Lavers) has announced his own headlining tour in support of his debut album Your Day Will Come, out now on Jagjaguwar. He has also shared a new Dana Greenleaf-directed video for “Idea June,” a hazy, dreamy song with lead vocals by frequent collaborator Maya McGrory. Check it out below.
The newly-announced tour includes a hometown show on October 19 at Elsewhere Hall with LUCY (Cooper B. Handy) and FearDorian, and tickets for that one go on sale Friday (6/7) at 10 AM.
Before that tour, Chanel Beads opens the smaller Elsewhere Zone One (6/22) stop of ML Buch‘s North American tour, and plays the free Emerging Music Festival in Bryant Park on June 28 with Mei Semones and Los Esplifs. All upcoming dates are listed below.
