Cap’n Jazz have added a Hollywood Palladium (November 21) show to the end of their fall tour, and it has an amazing support lineup. Mayo Thompson and his legendary avant-rock group The Red Krayola will return to the stage for the first time in 10 years to provide direct support, and the show also includes a rare set from Cap’n Jazz’s longtime peers Rainer Maria and an opening set from Ceremony guitarist Anthony Anzaldo’s Anthony Family project. UPDATE 2: The show was moved to The Wiltern and now happens one day earlier than initially planned, November 20.
Alongside Mayo Thompson on vocals/guitar, the rest of The Red Krayola’s lineup for the show will include Tom Watson on guitar, Bill Bowman on bass, Connor Gallaher on pedal steel, and Raul Morales on drums. Cap’n Jazz also have upcoming November shows in South America, Denver, Austin, and San Francisco, and Rainer Maria will open all the US dates. All of their upcoming dates are listed below.
