Carrying on the tradition the late Gregg Allman started, the Laid Back Festival is a celebration of music and food, happening at two NYC-area amphitheaters: August 8 at Jones Beach and August 9 at PNC Bank Arts Center. Both shows have the same lineup, headlined by Steve Miller Band and Brian Wilson (with Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin), plus sets from Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives, the Taj Mahal Quartet, Gary Mule Deer and Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe (doing their Allman Brothers tribute Eat a Bunch of Peaches set).
Tickets for Jones Beach and PNC are on presales now and go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 21 at 10 AM.
