Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy releases his new album The Purple Bird this week, and he’s got a few West Coast dates with David Ferguson, who produced the album, happening in February. He’s also in NYC this week and will be at Rough Trade on Tuesday, January 28 for an in-store performance and album signing (you can sign up for the waitlist). All tour dates are listed below.
The Purple Bird is only the second time Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy has used an outside producer for an album, and it also features musical and songwriting collaborations with John Anderson, Ronnie Bowman, Tim O’Brien, Pat McLaughlin, Tommy Prine, Roger Cook, and more.
