As mentioned, ’90s indie rockers Belly, who got back together for shows in 2016, are working on their first album in 20+ years with old friend Paul Q. Kolderie. They’re still finishing it up but have just launched a PledgeMusic campaign where you can preorder the album (date and title TBD) in a variety of packages.
Meanwhile Belly’s Tanya Donelly will be playing two shows with her stepsister and onetime Throwing Muses bandmate Kristin Hersh at Boston’s City Winery on October 28 & 29 (tickets are still available for the 10/29 show). Kristin will also be heading to NYC to play City Vineyard on November 7 (part of the “Voices on the Hudson” series) and tickets are on sale now.
