Band of Horses will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album, Everything All the Time, with a deluxe edition reissue on March 20 via Sub Pop (pre-order on gold vinyl), and a tour where they’ll play the album in full. “This album made all of my dreams come true,” says frontman Ben Bridwell. “Forever grateful for the desperation that fueled its inspiration.”
The album has been fully remastered for this anniversary edition, with tweaked artwork including a gatefold sleeve, plus new liner notes by producer, Phil Ek. He writes, “I’ve always believed that albums need to feel special and should transcend the recording process. I want records that I produce to feel like you can walk into them, to have a three-dimensional depth. The music should stay as fresh and exciting as the first time you heard it. Achieving this requires a lot of time, trust, and effort in the studio, but it pays off in the end. Twenty years on, I still think Everything All The Time exemplifies this fully.”
The 20th anniversary edition also includes the previously unreleased song “(Biding Time Is a) Boat to Row,” and they’ve shared a newly made video for that directed by James Ayling. Watch below.
The tour kicks off with a three-night run in Seattle, and NYC-area shows include Long Island’s The Paramount on April 12, NJ’s Wellmont Theatre on April 15, and Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre on April 16.
