Short-lived late-’00s/early-’10s indie band Balkans, which included former Deerhunter guitarist Frankie Broyles, who would go on to form Omni, reissued their 2011 debut album on vinyl in early 2022, resparking interest in the group. Now they’re reforming to play a free show at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right on November 23.
The show is part of free show series presented by SON Estrella Galicia (the culture/events arm of Estrella beer) and also includes TVOD and DJ Eve Swords. RSVP here, and as they note, entrance is 21+ and based on capacity.
Balkans have played a few reunion shows over the last decade, including a Baby’s All Right show in 2022.
