UK alt-pop artist Artemas debuted in 2020 with the single “High 4 U,” released his debut project I’m Sorry I’m Like This in 2022, and really started breaking through with his very catchy 2023 single “If U Think I’m Pretty,” which was then included on his next project Pretty, released in February of this year. But his real breakthrough came with the following month’s standalone single “I Like the Way You Kiss Me,” which has blown up like crazy. It’s all over TikTok, it peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100, and it currently has over 400 million Spotify plays. Its moody, post-punky synthpop vibes make it kind of an unlikely hit, but it’s also not that hard to see why it’s blowing up; that melody is truly infectious.
Artemas recently played a few small, sold-out shows in select cities, and now he announced a more proper world tour of larger venues for late summer into fall. That includes North American shows in Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, NYC, DC, Atlanta, Austin, two-night stands in Los Angeles and San Francisco, and more. Tickets go on sale Thursday, May 23 at 10 AM local with an artist presale starting Tuesday (5/21) at 10 AM.
The NYC show takes place on October 9 at Irving Plaza. All dates are listed below.
UPDATE: Artemas added a 2nd NYC show at Warsaw on October 8. Tickets are on presale now, and go on sale to the general public on Thursday, May 23 at 10 AM ET.
