Arlo Parks is working on their follow-up to 2023’s My Soft Machine, and while there are no details on that yet, they’ve shared a new song called “New Desire.” They say, “I’ve been in the studio working on new music and this little idea was born out of a late late night session with BAIRD. D sent me a voicenote in May that made me feel like a teenager again – tender with new magic. I wanted to put my heart on the line and write it how it FELT.”

Arlo Parks will also be debuting new material with three special “Sonic Exploration” shows: London’s The Bath House on November 28, Brooklyn’s Silo on December 2, and Los Angeles’ Melt on December 5. Tickets for all three shows go on sale Wednesday, November 12 at 12 PM Eastern.
Of the upcoming shows, Arlo says, “I’ve spent the past few years in the studio exploring new sonic palettes, world building and experimenting. I’ve always wanted to show people the workings out of my music so BAIRD and I will be bringing our studio set up to the stage for a journey through old and new material. I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been dreaming up, face to face, in three cities that mean a lot to me. Don’t miss out it’s gonna be MAGIC.”
