Angélique Kidjo will celebrate her 40 year career (so far) in NYC next month. She plays Carnegie Hall on November 2, where she’s announced she’ll be joined by Nile Rodgers, and perform selections from her latest symphonic project, African Symphony, with arrangements from Derrick Hodge (who will conduct the Color of Noize Orchestra).
