Angel Olsen has announced the “Songs From The Archive Tour,” a solo tour of intimate venues through the northeastern US as well as California, running through September. According to a press release, she’ll be playing “music from her entire catalog from Strange Cacti to Big Time, including gems she rarely presents with her band,” and Maxim Ludwig, runo plum, Kyle Ryan, and Greg Mendez each open select shows. There’s no NYC show, but Angel will stop in Woodstock, NY at The Barn at Levon Helm Studios on September 29 with Maxim. Tickets to all dates go on sale Friday, April 19.
Angel recently shared a cover of The Velvet Underground / Lou Reed’s “I Can’t Stand It”, also with Maxim, and she appears on Lionlimb‘s most recent single, “Dream Of You.”
