Los Angeles’ Allah-Las will release their new album Callico Review on September 9 via Mexican Summer — their first record for the label. You can check out two songs from the album — “Famous Phone Figure” and “Could be You” — below.
The band is currently NYC, having just played Full Moon Fest on Sunday (8/21) at Governors Island. Anyone go? They’re still in town, and will play tiny East Village club Berlin tonight (8/22) and have also added a show at Baby’s All Right on September 16 with Montreal band TOPS. Tickets to Baby’s are on sale now (Berlin sold out).
