Alex G has announced a fall North American tour with Nilüfer Yanya. That’s a great pairing, and the shows begin on September 11 in Boston and run for a month, wrapping up on October 11 in Philadelphia. Alex also has a pair of UK festival dates and Newport Folk Festival over the summer, and you can see all dates below.
The NYC show is at Radio City Music Hall on October 8. Tickets to that and all new dates go on sale Thursday, May 22 at 10 AM local, with various presales starting Tuesday, May 20 at 10 AM local. $1 from each ticket will go to supporting local nonprofit organizations providing critical services to young people, including housing and stability services, access to education, and mental health care via PLUS1.
Alex signed to RCA last year, and he composed the score to 2024 film I Saw the TV Glow, which is his most recent new music. Earlier this year, he opened for Bernie Sanders at one of his “Fighting Oligarchy” tour stops in Harrisburg, PA.
Nilüfer released the great My Method Actor last year, and she’s also supporting Lorde on tour.
