French duo Air‘s fantastic debut album, Moon Safari, turned 25 this year, and its lush, luxurious sounds — a vintage synth mix of lounge, prog and Pink Floyd — has aged remarkably well, from singles “Sexy Boy,” “Kelly Watch the Stars,” and “All I Need” to deep cuts like “La femme d’argent” and “You Make It Easy.” Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel are coming out of hibernation to play Moon Safari live in full for the first time ever on their first tour in seven years.
So far, the Moon Safari tour is Europe / UK only, and just a few dates, hitting Geneva, Milan, Vienna, Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam and London in February and March. Let’s hope for a few North American dates, and you can check out their current schedule below.
In other news, there’s a new Dolby Atmos mix of Moon Safari being released on Friday (11/17) via Apple Music.
