You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

The Meadows @ Citi Field
It’s the final day of NYC festival The Meadows, with lots of ’90s in the big font: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nas, and Weezer. There’s also back-in-action indie staples Broken Social Scene, Wu-Tang’s Ghostface Killah, rising West Coast rapper Kamaiyah, NYC rapper and foodie Action Bronson, and more.

The Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival
The festival that started almost as a joke is now in its 10th, and what Eugene says will be its final year. Tonight’s offerings include a benefit for 826NYC featuring Wyatt Cenac and Sarah Vowell, Todd Barry, Maeve Higgins, T.J. Miller, Wesley Stace, Daniel Kitson and more.

Suzanne Vega @ City Winery
College radio and folk vet Suzanne Vega performs two of her best-loved albums — Solitude Standing and 99.9F — in full.

Nico Muhly @ Guggenheim Museum
Nico Muhly discusses his music for countertenor with author and illustrator Maira Kalman and Guggenheim curator Nat Trotman, along with the performance of a selection of works.

Anoraak, Hart @ Le Bain
Icy Cool French synthpoppers DJ this sunset party tonight at The Standard.

Ilana Glazer (and friends) @ Littlefield
Leading up to the Broad City premiere, Ilana Glazer has been doing a lot of her “Ilana Glazer and Friends” shows at Littlefield, and the next ones happen this Sunday (9/17) with 7 PM and 9 PM shows.

Paul McCartney @ Madison Square Garden
Paul McCartney is in the middle of EIGHT NYC-area shows. This is his second night at Madison Square Garden; he brought out Bruce Springsteen for the first.

Ancient Ocean, Dave Harrington, Colin L., Adam Downey (DJ) @ Union Pool
Ancient Ocean is the solo project of Brooklyn-based musician J.R. Bohannon, who has played in a few different groups over the last few years (including Torres’ band). As Ancient Ocean, he makes ambient music, but it is not without shape and melody. He celebrates the release of his new album Titan’s Island, tonight with Darkside’s Dave Harrington on the bill.

David Liebe Hart, Matthew Silver, Yucky Duster, The Johns @ Sunnyvale
Most know David Liebe Hart as the oddball puppeteer from Tim and Eric, Awesome Show, Great Job! but he writes and records songs too.

EPMD, Slick Rick, Black Moon, Smif-n-Wessun @ Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk
The free Coney Island concert series was saved in part by City Parks Foundation, the people behind SummerStage, and that resulted in four Coney Island shows being tacked on to the 2017 SummerStage lineup. The final one is tonight, with an all-around killer lineup of veteran hip hop.

Cheetah Chrome’s Dead Boys, New York Junk, The Sacred, ElectraJets @ Bowery Electric
Cleveland punk legends Dead Boys are celebrating the 40th anniversary of their classic album Young, Loud & Snotty this year. A photobook comes out soon, and members Cheetah Chrome and Johnny Blitz released a re-recorded version of the album last week. Cheetah is also currently bringing those songs on tour.
