Jens Lekman, Lisa/Liza @ Music Hall of Williamsburg
Jens Lekman’s first album in five years, Life Will See You Now, which finds in him fine, charming form. He’s on his first full-band tour in forever and this is his second of two NYC shows.
Wilco, Joan Shelley @ Beacon Theater
Still touring off of last year’s very enjoyable Shmilco, Wilco continue their four-show run at Beacon Theatre tonight.
Eric Clapton, Gary Clark Jr. @ Madison Square Garden
Guitar great Eric Clapton will probably continue to play guitar after this year, but he says this will be it for touring. For this tour, he’s brought along (relatively) young guitar great Gary Clark Jr. This is the first of two MSG shows this week (but they’ll be back in September).
