Steve Earle is a consummate singer-songwriter and storyteller and is always worth seeing, especially in an intimate setting like this. The very talented Aoife O’Donovan opens.
Phish @ Madison Square Garden
Love ’em or hate ’em, jam staples Phish wrap up their four night run at MSG tonight. If you love ’em, you probably already have your ticket: the whole thing is sold out.
Aye Nako, Vagabon, Arm Candy, T-Rextasy @ Shea Stadium
Aye Nako do ’90s-style pop punk right, and their hard-hitting lyrics make them more than just a product of their influences. It’s an all-local bill, and the openers are well-matched.

As star of one of the greatest holiday albums ever made — A Christmas Gift for You from Phil Spector — Darlene Love Christmas shows are always full of joy and good cheer.
Simian Mobile Disco (DJ Set), Jackmaster, JDH & Dave P @ Output
