The 2017 BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival came to a close last weekend with two free shows: Whitney, Moses Sumney and Weyes Blood on August 11, and then the final show on Saturday (8/12) with Senegalese singer and world music icon Youssou N’Dour and acclaimed kora player Yacouba Sissoko. You couldn’t have asked for nicer weather and it was a great way to end the season in Prospect Park.
