Young Fathers played Brooklyn Steel with Callum Easter (pics, setlist)

After postponing their fall 2023 tour, Young Fathers are back in North America and touring their way to Coachella this month. They stopped in NYC on Thursday night (4/4) for a show at Brooklyn Steel with Callum Easter, who doubled as part of their backing band. Their setlist pulled largely from their most recent album, last year’s Heavy Heavy, and they also played some older songs; see pictures from the whole night by Edwina Hay, and the setlist, below.

The band began their tour in Cambridge on Wednesday, where there they said they’d be “donating the profits from our fee, our merch sales and also taking donations at the merch stand” to Medical Aid for Palestine. They were taking donations in NYC too, and had a table set up with a container for cash and a QR code for digital donations.
