Weezer played Rough Trade acoustic, ‘The Tonight Show’ & ‘Good Morning

Weezer released their latest album, “White Album,” this past Friday (4/1), and they were just in NYC for a few things in support of it. We already posted a review and the setlist of their intimate show at Warsaw in Brooklyn, and we’ve got a set of pictures from that show in this post. On album release day, Weezer played the even more intimate Brooklyn venue Rough Trade NYC, though that one was just a brief acoustic set. They played four songs off the new record and unearthed “Slave” off 2002’s Maladroit, which they haven’t played live since the year it came out (according to Setlist.fm). Weezer also played “KIng Of The World” off the new album on The Tonight Show and Good Morning America while they were in town. You can check out videos of both of those performances below too.

In June, Weezer will begin their massive tour with Panic! at the Disco and Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. That tour brings them back to the NYC-area for larger shows at Jones Beach on 6/30 and PNC Bank Arts Center on 7/2 (tickets).
