St. Vincent covered Sleater-Kinney, played Bill Graham Civic Auditorium (pics)

St. Vincent is continuing to bring her “Fear the Future” tour around the world, and stopped at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium last night (1/22). Her current live show has her playing songs from her first four albums in a first act, followed by a front-to-back performance of her new album MASSEDUCTION in the second. Pictures of the San Francisco show are in the gallery above. Like at other recent shows, veteran jazz duo Tuck & Patti (who are also St. Vincent’s uncle and aunt) opened.

St. Vincent also posted a video on Instagram of her warming up for a show and covering “Modern Girl,” the Sleater-Kinney song sung by Carrie Brownstein (who St. Vincent has collaborated with) which Carrie named her memoir (that is being adapted as a Hulu pilot) after. Watch that below.

St. Vincent also recently did an acoustic NPR Tiny Desk Concert and she plays a Grammy week show in NYC TONIGHT (1/23).
