Having released Love and Decay earlier this year via Ipecac, Brooklyn’s sludgy, shoegazy Spotlights are currently on tour with Austin noise punks Vampyre (who also just released a new album, Other Growths) and hit Bushwick club Sunnyvale on Thursday. Also on the bill: Brooklyn’s post-hardcore / noise-rock duo The Austerity Program who set up on the floor, backed by a drum machine and bright white lights. (They’ve also got a new album.)
