Following sets at Maryland Deathfest this past weekend, Australian death metallers Portal and related band Impetuous Ritual hit NYC’s Saint Vitus on Wednesday (5/27) for a characteristically dark, twisted and awesome show. Barefoot, and covered in dirt and slime (yum), Impetuous Ritual played in floor-length loincloths, one of which was studded with nails; Portal were masked and cloaked as always.
