Pond played Music Hall of Williamsburg with Machete Western (pics)

Australia’s Pond are currently on a tour of the U.S., Mexico and South America and came through NYC for a show at Music Hall of Williamsburg on Wednesday, October 26. In addition to new single “Sweep Me Off My Feet,” Pond have been playing a couple other songs off their forthcoming third LP, in addition to favorites like “Waiting Around for Grace,” “Giant Tortoise” and “Elvis Flaming Star.” Did you go to the MHOW show?

Austin’s Machete Western warmed up the crowd, with frontman Slick Johnson stripping down to a jock strap at the end of the set. Pictures from their set, and more of Pond, are in the gallery above.

Pond also played Desert Daze in Josha Tree, CA and pictures from that are here. They’ll soon be back in Australia taking part in King Gizzard’s travelling Gizzfest tour.
